Woven Rose

Lazy and beautiful...I guess this is my spirit stitch.

Quick Refresher:

1: To begin, draw a circle, mark the center, then add five evenly spaced spokes to create a star.

2. Next, make straight stitches along each spoke, ending with your needle on top of the fabric in the center

3. Start weaving by passing the thread over and under the spokes, gradually moving in a circular pattern.

4. To complete the stitch, place your needle and thread slightly underneath the edge of the stitches.

Tip

• To increase the fullness of the rose, carefully fluff up the finished rose using the eye of the needle.
