Ladder Stitch
Ladder Stitch
The Ladder Stitch is the sneaky little trick for closing seams so neatly they basically vanish.

Quick Refresher:
1: To begin, make a small stitch, parallel to the seam.
2. Bring your needle to the other side of your fabric and make a similar stitch, also parallel to the seam.
3. Alternate back and forth until you’ve sewed along the entire edge.
4. Make sure the thread begins and ends on the same side of the fabic.
5. Grab the two ends and pull gently, closing the seam.
Tip
-
Pull very gently to close your gap; otherwise your fabric might pucker.
