French Knot
French Knot
The French Knot is proof that good things come in tiny, slightly frustrating packages.

Quick Refresher:
1: Begin with a straight stitch down the center of the leaf.
2. Next, grasp the thread closest to the fabric between your thumb and index finger. Then, using the needle, wrap it around the thread 2 times.
3. Place the tip of the needle directly next to the hole where you exited. Then, pull the thread through to the back of the fabric, holding onto the thread to keep it tight.
4. Hold on to the loop as you slowly pull the needle and thread through. This will help the knot form by the fabric, not earlier.
Tip
- A shorter piece of thread can help you prevent unintentional knots.
